 Whether your travel involves a passport, simply heading down the block, backpacking or biking many miles, it is exciting to capture and record the adventures. Artist Judith Cassel-Mamet shares simple techniques for creating distinctive travel journals filled with pages that will help you remember your unique experience. We will prepare pages, work with collage and mixed media, and try some crazy techniques with common materials (hint: coffee and wine!). You will have the chance to "travel" into Crested Butte and gaze at the magnificent scenery to practice capturing your moments on paper. No sketching or art experience necessary; this class is for any level adventurer. All materials are provided, including a small 4x6 sketchpad, however, you are welcome to bring your own journal. Judith will also teach you how to pack light with your art supplies, so you are prepared to record any adventure!
