Each month this winter, talented instructor, Mary Tuck, presents a rotating series of fun and approachable art experiences. Participants learn and work while sipping on fun cocktails from the Center bar. Choose from painting on silk, drawing, painting on canvas and wood panel, wire wrapping, and jewelry making.  See the schedule below to find out which fun brand of creativity we’re offering each month.  Libations will be served to participants 21 and older, so relax and create! All supplies and your first drink are included. Absolutely no art experience is necessary.

Let go and enjoy the process of applying layers of paint to canvas. Mary leads the group through and abstract mood acrylic painting, utilizing brushes and straight edge blades to apply layers of textured paint. Focus on varying color choices to affect the overall mood of your work. In the Center for the Arts Lobby.

Join Mary Tuck to paint  A Winter Welcome in acrylics on a pre-made rustic wood panel. Hang your piece in your home as a greeting or give as a gift.  In the Center for the Arts Lobby.

Wrap silver wire on a pre-made, three-strap leather bracelet with a snap closure. Using jewelry tools - plyers, hammers, and anvils - crimp and shape waves, curls and decorative patterns on your leather piece.  In the Center for the Arts Lobby.

Make beaded jewelry pieces - a necklace, bracelet or earrings - while sipping on springtime beverages. Finish your items with clasps, jump rings and ear wires for wearable works of art that are ready to adorn you or someone you love. In the Center for the Arts Lobby.
