Local Use – Organizations & Individuals based within Gunnison County

Schools/Community Service Organizations

Performance/Event—$50 per event when admission is FREE; $100 per event when admission is charged or admission with donation.
Rehearsals—$25 each day.
Outdoor Stage—$150 per event (when available & approved by Town of Crested Butte Director of Parks and Recreation and Crested Butte Town Council)

Non-Profit Organizations

Organizations holding a current 501©3 certificate (Proof of certification required upon request)

Performance/Event—20% of gross ticket sales or $175 per event, whichever is greater.
Rehearsals—$50 each day.

*% Waived Rate*—If the rental period involves 4 or more consecutive performance days, OR is a fundraiser for a local non-profit, the 20% of gross ticket sales may be waived and the daily rate of $325 is charged.
Outdoor Stage—$300 for use of Center’s covered stage with electricity only; $500 for use of Outdoor Stage, electricity and inside space(dressing rooms, etc.) All events on the outdoor stage must be approved by Town of Crested Butte Director of Parks & Recreation and the Crested Butte Town Council. Rate for Sound is negotiable.

Local For-Profit Organizations or Individuals

Performance/Event—$350 per event.
Rehearsals—$100 each day.
Outdoor Stage—$500 for use of Center’s covered stage with electricity only; $1000 for use of Outdoor Stage, electricity and inside space(dressing rooms, etc.) All events on the outdoor stage must be approved by Town of Crested Butte Director of Parks & Recreation and the Crested Butte Town Council. Rate for Sound is negotiable.

Out-of-Area Renter
Organizations & Individuals based outside Gunnison County

Performance/Event—$500 flat fee per event
Rehearsals—$250 per day.
Outdoor Stage—$1000 for use of Center’s covered stage with electricity only; $2000 for use of Outdoor Stage, electricity and inside space(dressing rooms, etc.) All events on the outdoor stage must be approved by Town of Crested Butte Director of Parks & Recreation and the Crested Butte Town Council. Rate for Sound is negotiable.

The rates above do not include fees for technical services ($20.00 per hour) or for contract security staff. An additional cleaning fee of $50 per event will be required for food and/or beverage receptions. The Center holds a state liquor license in good standing and may, at staff’s discretion, operate the bar for events with Center bartenders. All bar proceeds are retained by the Center. No alcohol may be brought in or removed from the premises.
