Welcome to Center for the Arts Crested Butte



The Center for the Arts has an exciting Summer Season planned with something for everyone. Check out the wide variety of workshops for kids, families and adults! Or enjoy the culinary arts through attendance at one of our 20 Tour De Forks events. We are also proud to be presenting seven free Alpenglow concerts every Monday evening in the Town Park and four additional concerts including the bluegrass sounds of Spring Creek and the outstanding music of local Drew Emmitt. Come to the Center and be inspired and uplifted by what you experience and learn. Come together with other members of your community to appreciate what which makes us human.

Kids love the big trucks!

The Center is happy to be a playground for a day to display a variety of what we adults call heavy equipment. Excavators, dozers and more will be at the Center for the interactive Touch a Truck on July 3. It’s a chance for folks of all ages to get a closer look at the machines that destroy in an instant and move boulders with ease. The event is free but donations are appreciated.

Mike Maurer Band on stage for the next Alpenglow

The Center for the Arts celebrates the second night of the Alpenglow Summer Concert Series with the soulful music of the Mike Maurer Band on Monday, July 6 at 5:30 p.m. The show will include the youth performances that are going to come out of the free Alpenglow Youth Workshop held earlier in the day. It’ll be a great evening to catch some more music under the Butte and watch your child shine.
