Precious Metal Clay Jewelry Making
Wildflower Festival Art Classes

Add to your calendar
Date: July 10, 10:00 am
Location: The Art Studio
Details: Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a crafting medium with the consistency of polymer clay, comprised of very small particles of silver. Using wildflowers as inspiration, Mary Tuck will guide the class through molding and shaping the PMC into beautiful pendants, rings, and earrings that are then fired in a tabletop kiln. The binder in the PMC burns away, incredibly leaving 99% pure silver pieces of jewelry. Finish your piece by creating a patina, burnishing, polishing, and finally assembling the silver into a wearable piece of jewelry. Instructor: Mary Tuck.
