Crested Butte Dance Collective
The Center for the Arts Crested Butte and the Crested Butte Dance Collective have joined together in a new partnership that promises the community a continuing world of exposure and opportunity in this expressive body art form. In this unique partnership, the Center will be the fiscal sponsor of the CBDC, responsible for community outreach, fundraising, marketing, grant writing, sponsorship building, ticket sales and budget maintenance. The CBDC is responsible for providing the community with new dance modalities with corresponding instructors; and creating choreography, conducting rehearsals, and managing technical requirements for productions. The mission of the Crested Butte Dance Collective is to deepen the connection to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us through dance. The Crested Butte Dance Collective (CBDC) is comprised of dancers, artists, and enthusiasts who come together to:

CBDC is dedicated to making dance available to everyone, regardless of social or economic status, age, gender, or artistic or cultural background. We are committed to providing exceptional dance opportunities in the areas of:
