Artist’s Statement

Eidolon Press is a small letterpress print shop and bookbindery located in Crested Butte at 414 Elk Avenue. We print by hand on an 8 x 12 Chandler and Price tradle press and a 6 x 10 American Printing Equipment pilot press. We provide the finest in quality and design, utilizing papers from France, Italy and Germany, and fonts handset from hour humble colleciton of hot metal type. All books are hand bound with French blue board and an assortment of coverings, agian using the finest quality materials to fit the needs of the finished product. We invite you to come visit!
