Kyle Hollingsworth is the formidable keyboardist of jam masters The String Cheese Incident. He’s revered for his signature versatility, contributing songs and helping the group boldly venture to the fringes of rock, bluegrass, Afro-beat, funk, classical, jazz, Latin and psychedelic. As a composer he’s fearless, flirting with a vast mosaic of often disparate genres. Kyle has created three SCIde projects with his band, his newest endeavors wrangling in electronic dance music, vintage funk and shades of 1980’s sythnpop. His capacity to collaborate has brought him in cahoots with major players such as Paul Simon, Bob Weir, and Bela Fleck, and he’s served as a member of the Micky Hart Band as well as completing a full summer tour with Phil Lesh, Steve Kimock, John Molo and Warren Haynes. Kyle’s current band is Dave Watts (drums, The Motet), Garrett Sayers (bass, The Motet), and Dan Schwindt (guitar, The Motet).
